When those agencies reached their limits with complex client projects, they gladly turned to KULTFAKTOR’s expertise to develop suitable concepts. Large electronics retailers and cult furniture chains were also among the satisfied clients. Stefanie Prinz-Handel is an interior architect with an unmistakable sense for design and spatial aesthetics. Her career began with an unusual and bold decision: together with her future husband Michael, she launched a quirky and wildly creative online shop in 1999—while still studying. Her passion for interior architecture, paired with his know-how in production management, formed the perfect foundation for their shared venture into the world of e-commerce. From a student idea to a celebrated entrepreneur – The unconventional concept of their online shop quickly caught the attention of the German media. In a short time, Stefanie and Michael were featured in major TV shows and national newspapers. This success allowed them to push their dream forward. While Michael focused fully on growing the company, Stefanie committed to completing her degree in interior architecture before fully joining what would later become known as KULTFAKTOR. A versatile talent in purchasing, HR, and operations – Once on board, Stefanie took over full coordination of purchasing and human resources. With her analytical mindset and love for streamlined processes, she made workflow optimization her specialty. Under her leadership, KULTFAKTOR’s logistics became faster and more efficient than many giants in the mail-order business—securing the company a decisive competitive edge. A visual thinker with creative flair – Stefanie’s eye for detail and her gift for visual storytelling played a key role in the company’s success. She continuously refined KULTFAKTOR’s brand image and elevated it to new heights. Her tireless commitment ensured the brand stayed one step ahead in a highly competitive market. Return to her true calling: interior architecture – Since 2016, Stefanie has returned to her roots, focusing entirely on her first love—interior architecture. Today, she specializes in conceptual spatial planning and has delivered a wide range of impressive projects. From cutting-edge new builds and charming country homes in the Tyrolean Alps to elegant Mallorcan fincas and historic Budapest flats with soaring ceilings—she designs tailor-made concepts for every setting. Together with her husband, she also consults companies on their interior and exterior brand identity.
